NEXT ACTION ITEM!!!
On Tuesday April 7th, the SFMTA Board is holding a meeting. The Coalition to Protect Prop. K is encouraging all drivers and the public to come out and tell the SFMTA that they can not close the city's budget off the sweat of taxi drivers. The meeting will start at 2pm in City Hall in Room 400. We hope to have massive turnout so be there to voice your concerns and support your colleauges and cabbies.

Dear concern reader
ReplyDeleteI have been an A Card holder and in the waiting list for a medallion for the past 12 years
The gate was $95 When I started,
The coast of driving a Cab in the City adding up to $15 Per hour gas prices and market
willing!!Good luck making a descent living?
Prop K and release of Medal ions did not relay effect any thing in my case Quarter of million dollars in gate fees as well as 12 years of driving. what do I have to pay to Buy a Medal ion?
In 1996 when I became an A card holder and Medallion applicant there was no Prop K,Medallion sale ,4 years rule, $15 Per hour coast slow economy.
ReplyDeleteI relay thought I will have a Medallion doing a job I love.
Is it time that changes every thing?
The city?
Taxi Co owners?
Medallion owners?
Prop K voters?
perhaps drivers?
Is it fair?
Only if I could for tell future!!
